OK, I admit it, I am terrible at keeping on top of our blog. Maybe it’s due to my hunt and peck method of typing, and the long time it takes me to get my message in place and out to you. Few things in life are truly timeless and breathtakingly beautiful. However one thing that is timeless and beautiful, for all of us, is the love we feel for our children and family. This is why at Walden’s, when we create our color studies, they are timeless and with outstanding artistry.

A portrait is always the perfect gift for Father’s Day. The reason is simple, at least here at Walden’s, and that is because it celebrates the ones that dad loves so much. We know that some dads can be stubborn about getting through the doors of most studios for a portrait session. However, I have to tell you that at Walden’s, that is not true. Walden Relationship style portraits are black & white and very real in their style, with no dressing up and no stiff posing. Instead, it is an image where you are yourself and it is a portrait that highlights those you love. Dads do love the Walden black and whites, so give us a call and get in soon or purchase a gift certificate for a portrait to be done when you are ready.
Today, Beverly constructed the first of several magazines being designed for a new “Walden Library” coming soon on our website. These E-Magazines will be used to help you see images, learn about our photography and the processes and procedures at Walden’s.
I thought I would post the first one here before it hits the library and give you a taste of how really cool these are. Please read though it and enjoy.
OK, this is the Walden AV blog and it would make more sense for me to tell you about Walden’s (which I will continue to do in future post) but this is too exciting not to share. Studio B, under the creative guidance of Laura, the Studio B photographer, has introduced “Studio B Urban Kids”. These are truly unique portraits. as you know, Walden’s demands excellence and creativity from everyone here and Studio B is no exception, but what is really awesome is the uniqueness added to these images. I am posting a few for you to see and to get your attention (I hope I got it). The tough part is, these sessions are very demanding, requiring added time and energy and they have to be fit into an already busy schedule. Also we have to make accommodations for the weather when necessary. SO, we are taking only two appointments per month. It is first come first serve on holding those times. So, if you happen to be one of those that find these images awesome like I do you, better call now.
I have been waiting until I could get back in front of the video camera to create my next post. However, since I have been out of the studio a lot lately and the workload at Walden’s has been HUGE, keeping all the Walden team hopping (that’s not a complaint you know:), connecting with Jon, resident videographer/production guru, to film has been impossible. So, I thought I would post a “hurry up and get your time scheduled” warning in order to get your mom the perfect Mothers day gift. Maybe you need to get the family in (has it been awhile)? Maybe a gift certificate for mom????? It’s your call but time is at hand so give us a call and we will see that this Mother’s day is your best, better yet, moms best!
Happy Easter! This time of year is so special not to mention, Spring has sprung:~), finally. Anyway, I did a short video to chat with you about Easter at Walden’s, please take a few minutes and watch.
